GEICO Renter's Resouce

Brief

Client's objective was to create an informative one-page site that gives helpful tips to people who are renting - From a moving checklist, educational materials, to household hacks. The purpose of this page was to educate and encourage people to purchase renters insurance through GEICO.

Details

Proprietary data and research was provided by the marketing team which consisted of copywriters and account managers. One of the criteria for the site was it was also supposed to be a responsive site with dynamic elements within the website. Using Sketch, the initial proprietary wireframes and public final comp were built as well as storyboarding the site's dynamic elements. It was then coded in HTML5 with the help of a developer, with heavy collaboration needed between design and development - With myself overseeing that the site and dynamic elements were properly implemented to spec both on mobile and on desktop views.

As a result, traffic increased and the microsite proved to be a success.
